The Last Prisoner Project (LPP) is a national, nonpartisan nonprofit dedicated to reforming our criminal justice system through progressive drug policy. Through legal intervention, constituent support, advocacy campaigns, and policy change they aim to release every last drug war prisoner, as well as to repair the harms of this discriminatory and counterproductive crusade. The Last Prisoner Project was founded in 2019 out of the belief that no one should remain incarcerated or suffering the collateral consequences of offenses that are now legal.
