Bud’s Goods & Provisions, a cannabis company based in Worcester, was named the Best New England Cannabis Company 2021 at the New England Cannabis Convention, known as NECANN, which took place in Boston over the weekend.
“On average it took several thousand nomination votes to make the final ballot, and over 6,000 votes to win, which is a pretty impressive endorsement for any local business,” said Marc Shepard, NECANN’s founder and president, in a statement.
Bud’s Goods operates two adult-use dispensaries, one in Worcester and another in Abington, with a third location in Watertown slated to open early next year.
The company was founded by Alex Mazin, who is 34 years old and was raised in Worcester.
